The Spacer block adds arbitrary vertical white space between blocks and is height adjustable. Only use the spacer block when absolutely necessary, as it carries no semantic meaning and shouldn’t be used by itself to indicate a change in page topic.

How to Use

  1. Select Add block and choose the Spacer block (under the Layout Elements category).
  2. The Spacer block will default to a default of 100 pixels high. Select the block and edit this height in the block sidebar settings.

The Spacer block has no additional options.

For HRS use: If you want to use a Spacer block, prefer the HRS Spacer – Default block, found in the Reusable category. It is customized to provide a reasonable theme-friendly space.

Example

Following this paragraph block is a Spacer block, set to the default 100 pixel height.

That was a Spacer block. That’s all.
