Embedded content blocks are designed to display content from external sites and services like YouTube, Vimeo, and Facebook.

How to Use

The various embed blocks can be found in the Embeds category. Select the embed block for the service you intend to pull content from. Usually all you’ll need is a URL to a video, tweet, Facebook post, or other resource.

To embed a video from YouTube, for example:

  1. Select Add block and choose the YouTube block from the Embeds category.
  2. On the YouTube website, copy the Share link from the video you want to embed.
  3. Paste it in the Enter URL to embed field of the YouTube block, and select Embed.
  4. Make sure the Resize for smaller devices option is toggled on.

Additional Options

Many of the embed blocks — including the YouTube block, the Facebook block, and the Twitter block — have alignment options like other blocks do. You can set them to none, left, right, center, wide, or full using the alignment menu in the block toolbar.

Some of the blocks, such as the YouTube block, have media-specific options that will appear in the block settings sidebar. Make sure to look for these and adjust them as needed.
